Turn-Key Sustainability

For many industries, businesses, and professionals, sustainability is a new and complex approach that introduces a number of challenges into projects and ongoing operations.  The good news is that, with the right resources, these challenges can be overcome.  Our multi-disciplinary team of LEED AP’s will work with you from the initial project development stage to create and manage a strategic plan that achieves forward-thinking environmental and realistic financial targets.  Our Turn-key Sustainability services are as follows:

Owner's Representative As the owner's sustainability representative, we will help you establish and your project's sustainability features and goals.  By representing the owner, FutureProof will speak on the owner’s behalf and be prepared to devote the time needed to fully advocate, defend, clarify and develop the owner’s interest. Additionally, we will help communicate the project strategy to the public and to contractors in order to ensure that these features meet the project's requirements and contractual obligations.

Project Management Our project management team will manage the design team, design process, construction oversight, and financial goals of your project. This includes the identification of industry resources, financial incentives, and stakeholders to navigate state and local requirements and standards.  We will be able to ensure that all moving parts run cohesively and always with the same end goals in mind.

Team Selection Projects aiming to successfully incorporate sustainable design features, methods, and goals need to first secure a project team with the right expertise and capacity for integrative design.  With our project team experience and strong industry connections, FutureProof is able to piece together the most qualified and appropriate team to meet your project’s goals.

Our Valued Process??
Integrated Design Process Modeled after the integrated relationship in whole systems ecology, the Integrated Design Process (IDP) is the process-oriented coordination and collaboration of all systems (such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and landscape) to create an effective design.  We facilitate IDP to ensure that all systems work efficiently and that all stakeholders feel vested with their valuable input embedded in the outcome.  Following IDP from the pre-design phase through construction, occupancy, operations and maintenance is vital to the successful completion of a sustainable project.
